Christian Eriksen Returns to Inter Milan Since Cardiac Arrest

Inter Milan's midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has returned to Suning Training Centre, the training ground of the Serie A Champions. He returned on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 after suffering a cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 match on June 12, 2021. The news of his return was confirmed on Inter Milan's website.

According to Inter Milan, Eriksen is in good condition, but the midfielder will have to continue the rehabilitation process put forward by the doctors from Denmark.

The Danish player met with the club's directors, the coach, teammates, and all the members of staff. He is expected to follow the recovery program put forward by the Danish doctors in Copenhagen, who will also co-ordinate the clinical follow-up. The Inter Milan staff will naturally be kept informed and up to date throughout the process.

Eriksen's last game was Denmark's opening match at the Euro 2020 against Finland on Saturday, June 12, 2021. The player spent six days in the hospital and he is expected to be sidelined for six months.
