Chelsea's Cucurella Breaks Silence On The Hair-Pulling Incident And Referee's Decision
Newly signed Chelsea star Marc Cucurella has opened up on what he felt about the hair-pulling incident as well as the VAR and Referee's decision in the game.
Chelsea star Marc Cucurella in a media press conference held today, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, has opened up on the hair-pulling incident in the fixture against Tottenham and the decision made by the referee Anthony Taylor and VAR's Mike Dean on the issue.
Cucurella revealed that he had no problem with Romero outside the pitch as it was just one incident in the game even though it cost his side all three points. He also went on to add that this was a straight red card offence for him.
He said:
I have no problem with him. It's just one action of the game but maybe it was important because it changed the final result. I will never get my haircut, this is my style. For me, yes. It is too clear. I think the video is very clear. This is one for the referee and the VAR. Sometimes referees make good decisions or not, this is not my problem."
