The FA has reportedly taken a decision on Mike Dean following the controversial VAR decisions made in the Chelsea vs Tottenham fixture.

Following an uproar from football fans, journalists, coaches, players and ex-players on decisions made in the Chelsea vs Tottenham fixture played on Sunday, August 15, 2022, a referee who had been in charge of VAR during the fixture, Mike Dean, has reportedly been dropped from VAR duties in game week three in the Premier League.

According to the Mirror UK:

Mike Dean will not be in charge of VAR for the next round of Premier League fixtures following the controversial events in Chelsea's draw with Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend. The 54-year-old was in position for Chelsea's contest against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, when the game was full of controversial moments. With the list of officials for the upcoming round of games confirmed, Dean will now have a week off.
