Chelsea reportedly takes a decision on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future
Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to allow Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to leave the club as a free agent before the start of the 2023/24 season.
Transfer news guru, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Gabonese international has agreed to a three-year deal with Ligue 1 side, Olympique Marseille. According to reports, the striker is expected to be with the club at least until 2026.
Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona during the 2022 summer transfer window when Thomas Tuchel was in charge of the London club. However, things did not go as planned for the player because the German coach was fired just a few weeks after he arrived at Chelsea.
The former Arsenal captain was frozen out of the team when Graham Potter was appointed and he does not seem to be in the plans of Mauricio Pochettino going into next season.
