Borussia Dortmund Sign Karim Adeyemi as a Replacement for Erling Haaland

Borussia Dortmund has confirmed the signing of Karim Adeyemi from Salzburg as a replacement for Erling Haaland.

The Black and Yellow as they are popularly called announced the signing to the Nigerian descent a few minutes after Manchester City confirmed the signing of Haaland. Adeyemi has been in amazing form and he is expected to replicate the same performance for Leipzig. He expressed his delight concerning his decision to join Dortmund.

As soon as I heard Dortmund were interested in me, I knew I wanted to sign with BVB. I'm convinced that we're going to form an exciting team.

The forward player played 92 games for Salzburg, he scored 32 goals and registered 23 assists to his name across all competitions. The 20-year-old signed a five-year deal which will see him stay at the club until June 2022.

He is expected the join Dortmund when the transfer window opens In July 2022.
