Barcelona Football Club has taken down all the Images of Lionel Messi from Camp Nou. This decision was taken after it was confirmed that the Argentine will not have his contract renewed.
The Catalan club and Messi parted ways after 21 years. The Spanish team could not renew the midfielder contract because of the financial fair play rule in Spain.

Lionel Messi has since moved on from the decision after the midfielder agreed to sign a 2 year-deal with Paris Saint Germain. He is expected to earn 25 million pounds a year after tax. The deal is still subject to medical.
