Barcelona Reportedly Open Talks with Edinson Cavani
Barcelona Football Club have reportedly submitted a bid for Manchester United's striker, Edinson Cavani, ahead of the January transfer window.
The Catalonia side are in need of a striker following the retirement of Sergio Aguero, who hung off his boots following the condition of his heart. Barcelona will be perfectly fit for Barcelona, following that he does not seem to be in the plan of Ralf Rangnick.
Transfer News Daily, a transfer-related account on Twitter that talks about all football-related transfer news, posted the news on its official account on Friday, December 17th, 2021. According to the tweet, Cavani has been offered a year-and-a-half contract. He will also earn 3.5 million euros and an additional 1 million euros for the first six months, then he will earn 4 million euros plus 1,5 million euros in the final year of the contract.
Cavani joined Manchester United on a free transfer after he decided not to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
