Arsenal and Gabon captain, Aubameyang has responded to the recent speculation about his current health condition after he was forced to cut his AFCON 2021 trip short and return to London after he was diagnosed with heart lesions when he tested positive for COVID-19 in the Gabon training camp.

Aubameyang had not appeared in any AFCON 2021 matches for Gabon since the tournament commenced on January 9th, 2022. He was then forced to return back to London for more medical examinations. The Arsenal front man took to Instagram to give football lovers who had expressed concerns about his health condition a reason not to worry. He had stated that he was in good health and was doing absolutely fine.
For now, it is uncertain if Aubameyang will return to Gabon's camp in Cameroon to help his country in the round of 16 fixture against Burkina Faso.
