Arsenal Player Under Investigation By The English FA

A spokesperson for the English Football Association confirms that an Arsenal player is under investigation for a yellow card received in a way that is similar to questionable betting patterns.

The news about the investigation was made public on the 19th of January 2022 via Skysports who made the announcement. Arsenal seems to be faced with more woes as Sky Sport confirms, after a conversation with the English FA, that though there is confirmation of this investigation, Arsenal is currently not commenting on the issue.

The Athletic stated that bookmakers had called the attention of the English FA to a suspicious amount of money that was placed on an Arsenal player receiving a yellow card in a premier league game this season.
