Chelsea Football Club, defender, Antonio Rudiger has spoken about his future at the club.

The German was speaking in an interview with the athletic following the Blues triumph at the just concluded FIFA Club World Cup. Rudiger insists that he is really at Chelsea but his decision to remain at the club lies with Chelsea.
I feel great here, I have always said it, I think the way I play you can see that I am happy here. But there are also other people who have to make decisions.
Rudiger who is in the final four months of his contract earns £90,000, the lowest earned by any senior player at the club. The player is reported said to be asking for £225,000 but the Blues are willing to offer him £200,000.
He also spoke about how difficult it is for Chelsea to win the Premier League ahead of Manchester City now or in the future.
The Premier League is the toughest competition to be honest because Manchester City set a very high standard. We have to get to a point where we can go a long marathon.
The Blues are currently 16 points behind league leaders, Manchester City. Chelsea will need to have a flawless season and hope City drop points for them to have any chance at winning the Premier League.
The Club World Champions have a chance of adding another trophy to their cabinet when they play Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final later in February.
