Real Madrid's Carlo Ancelotti has joined Sir Alex Ferguson as the only football manager to achieve a formidable feat.
Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach at Real Madrid, has joined the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson as the only coach in football history to achieve an unmatched feat in the UEFA champions league.
Following Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk at the legendary Santiago Bernabeu, which was played on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Carlo Ancelotti became the only manager after Sir Alex Ferguson to record the highest number of wins in the champions league with a staggering number of 102 wins.
Carlo who is still an active coach would be looking to extend the record and become the only one to hold the record. The Italian had been very honest about how his side have been relaxed in recent games but had admired their bravery to turn the tides and pick up all three points to keep their title defence very much alive.

The team relaxes when they can relax. We were winning 2-0 and the game was under control. Intensity is important, but it can’t always be done. We dropped the intensity, thinking that the game was under control and we were comfortable. I had a word with them at half-time because the game wasn’t over. Sometimes this happens, because we were playing well and it seemed easy, but these games are dangerous. We only gave them one opportunity in attack, I’m not worried
