#AFCON2021: Ghana FA Sack Milovan Rajevac

The Ghanaian Football Association( GFA) has sacked Milovan Rajevac following the poor performance at the African Cup of Nations.

The decision to sack the Serbian was taken following the poor performance of the Black Stars at the ongoing African Cup of Nations hosted in Cameroon. Ghana were knocked out of the competition after failing to qualify from the group stage.

Milovan was sacked after an emergency meeting was held on Friday, January 21st, 2022 between the ministry of sports and the football association. According to reports from the meeting, the ministry made it clear that they had lost confidence in Milovan.

The football association have also been tasked to review the capacity of the technical team which was lead by Milovan. The Serbian might go home with few around $270,000 to $370,000 for the termination of his contract.
