#AFCON2021: Comoros Goalkeepers out Ahead of Game Against Cameroon

Comoros will be without a goalkeeper in their Round of 16 game against host nation Cameroon at the ongoing African Cup of Nations ( AFCON) on Monday, January 23rd, 2022.

The surprise team have their first choice goalkeeper, Salim Ben Biona, has been ruled out of the game because of an injury while they have their other two goalkeepers test positive for COVID-19.

CAF is yet to decide if they will have to play the game with an outfield player as a goalkeeper in their game against the host nation. Comoros qualified for the Round of 16 after defeating the Black Stars of Ghana in their final group game.
