A Tale of Edouard Mendy Since he Joined Chelsea | Read

The goalkeeper of Chelsea Football Club, Edouard Mendy added another feather to his cap on Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

The Senegalese joined the Blues from the Ligue 1 club, Rennes in the summer of 2021. Mendy has won a lot of medals since he joined Chelsea in the last one year.

The 29-year-old who recently won the African Cup of Nations with Senegal at the expense of the Pharaohs of Egypt in Cameroon on Sunday, February 6th, 2022. Mendy won the UEFA Champions League at the expense of Manchester City in May 2021, he also won the UEFA Super Cup when Chelsea beat Villareal.

Mendy also added more feathers to his name this year by winning awards which include the Champions League best keeper award and the FIFA Best award. He will hope he can win the Premier League, the Carling Cup, FA Cup and the Community Shield which will make him the most decorated goalkeeper in the history of the club.
