Asake drops new music video for 'Remember'

Afrobeats trailblazer, Asake drops a new video for his hit song Remember

The winner of the Headies Album of the Year award, Asake had previously hinted at the release of the music video by sharing images from it on his Instagram account, accompanied by the caption, "Do you Remember" on October 4. The music video was subsequently released on October 5, 2023, from his 14-track album Work of Art.

Work of Art serves as the subsequent project from Asake, following his debut release Mr. Money With The Vibe, which made its debut on September 7, 2022. The music video for "Remember" was a collaborative effort between YBNL Nation and Empire Records, with production handled by Blank Square Productions. The album Work of Art includes melodic tracks such as Amapiano, Lonely at the Top, and 2:30.

According to ChartsAfrica, Amapiano had 32 million streams on Spotify. In just a few months since its June 16 release, Asake's second studio album has garnered an impressive 1.2 billion streams.
