Nigerian artist Idyl, has released a new single titled ‘Iyoro’. The new track comes on the heels of last month’s release of the ADM Remix to his hit single ‘Satisfy Me’.
The Bayelsa native named the song ‘Iyoro’ means ‘beautiful woman’ in his local dialect Ijaw. The song is close to the singer’s heart as it is based on past experiences with a romantic partner. His past love experiences inspire every aspect of the project, including its strong focus on the importance of loyalty in relationships.
Idyl maintains his trademark charisma while presenting a soulful, African sound, with a twist of Afro-Fusion. He continues to build his music catalogue with the release of popular Afrobeat tracks. The meaningful lyrics of ‘Iyoro’ are paired with an upbeat production of instruments.
Since signing to Universal Music Group Nigeria, Idyl continues to evolve as an artist, teaming up with young and talented producers such as Sovida, who he collaborated with for ‘Iyoro’, with the duo delivering a catchy number.
