It came as a shock to many when it was confirmed that Wizkid would be taking to the stage once again before the year 2023 at the SoundStorm Festival runs out after being absent from the spotlight for over six months, it is not surprising that this performance was one of the most talked about of the year 2023.

Wizkid was announced as one of the headline acts for the biggest regional festival in the Middle East, the SoundStorm Festival in Saudi Arabia and the news of his performance for the first time was a welcomed development by fans who were eager to see the Grammy award-winning singer take to the stage once again following his absence from the spotlight after the sad loss of his mother.

The date Wiz was scheduled to perform was on Thursday, December 14, 2023, and fans turned out in large numbers to support one of Africa's biggest music exports.
