Family announces burial arrangements for Wizkid’s late mother

The grieving family of Nigerian superstar Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, has officially released the funeral arrangements for their beloved mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun.

The news of her passing had left fans and well-wishers deeply saddened. Since her death, Wizkid has taken time off social media and only appeared to change his Instagram profile picture to a picture of his late mother.

According to a flyer circulating on social media, the wake and tribute night in honour of Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

Following the tribute night, a funeral service is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023, where Mrs. Balogun will be laid to rest.

Jane Dolapo Balogun is survived by her loving husband, Alhaji M.O. Balogun, who has been a pillar of support during this difficult time. She leaves behind four children: Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji Balogun, whom the world knows as Wizkid. Additionally, she was blessed with grandchildren who will undoubtedly cherish her memory.
