The explosive drama that shook up week 3 of Big Brother Naija All-Stars

Week three was just as better as the second week of the eighth season of the biggest reality television show in Nigeria, Big Brother Naija the All-Stars edition, as housemates' real natures were exposed and apologises were made; here is everything you missed out on for the week three of the reality show.

Uriel's eviction

On the third week of the Big Brother Naija All-Star edition that started on July 23, 2023, the jury faced a decision to evict one of the two housemates with the lowest votes.

Housemates Ike and Frodd were immune from eviction for week three due to Ike being the Head of House and Frodd being pardoned.

Uriel became the 2nd housemate to exit the Big Brother All Stars house. The eviction of a contestant in the third week of the Big Brother Naija reality show was determined by a Jury consisting of three former housemates: Teddy A, Laycon, and Diana. Among the Jury, two members cast their votes in favour of evicting Uriel.

This led to the reaction of a former housemate on the show, Tacha, who expressed her shock about the eviction.

The secret exposing parrot

In the All-Star house during a recent emotionally taxing film shoot, suspicion arose among the housemates when a parrot unexpectedly played back during a wager task.

Due to underlying tensions, their relationship has been a rollercoaster of emotions, swinging between camaraderie and discord. Seyi added to the turmoil by seeking clarity from other housemates about the recorded audio, which was prompted by the parrot's playback, revealing that Seyi commented on Doyin.

Doyin was labelled as the "puppet master" of Ilebaye, which deeply affected her. Seyi apologised sincerely for his remarks, and Doyin graciously accepted. Seyi's subsequent explanations added complexity, swinging their relationship between camaraderie and discord.

Alcohol Palava

Tensions escalated after the Head of House, Ike, had advised the housemates to exercise caution regarding alcohol at the party on Saturday, August 12, 2023, because they still had contents to film for the week's wager.

Adekunle moved to grab a bottle of alcohol, and other housemates expressed displeasure about the action. Tolanibaj and Neo argued intensely about the incident, with other housemates joining in, with some arguing for and others arguing against the decision.

Ilebaye's apology

In her Wednesday, August 9, 2023, Diary session, Ilebaye issued an apology to Biggie, her fans and her family for her questionable actions toward CeeC and Doyin that led to her receiving two strikes after the party on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

She said, "I wish to offer my sincere apologies to my family for my disgraceful behaviour, as well as to my team, my loved ones, and my fans. I deeply regret my actions and want to express my remorse to Doyin and CeeC, who were also part of the argument. I am truly sorry for the way I conducted myself." 

After the diary session, Biggie also advised her to apologise to her housemates, Ilebaye and Doyin.
