The singer witnessed an earthquake for the first time in his life during an interview.

Nigerian sensational singer and songwriter Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, experienced an earthquake during a podcast session in the United States.

The award-winning Afrobeats star, who just released a new song titled 'Moving,' expected to be off his upcoming sophomore album 'Clarity of Mind,' encountered something quite different from his usual routine: his first earthquake.

The seismic event, which took place during the interview with host Zach Sang and his co-host on the Zach Sang Show, saw the startled singer express his shock and awe at the natural occurrence. However, he remained composed but curious throughout.

The minor earthquake, which is common in the seismic city of California, must have reminded the singer that he wasn’t in Lagos and possibly made him reflect on how far he has come, showcasing the different experiences that come with international fame. "That was scary," he was heard saying. The 27-year-old went to joke about the life-threatening moment he just witnessed with the hosts of the show, regarding it as bonding.

According to reports, Los Angeles has witnessed 2 earthquakes in the past 24 hours, 16 earthquakes in the past 7 days, and 67 earthquakes in the past 30 days.
