Music lovers on the Bird app are airing their opinions as regards portable's 2022 headies disqualification.
Nigerian music lovers on Twitter have aired their opinions as regards why Burna Boy was not disqualified in the 2022 Headies Award after Portable was disqualified.
The conversation sprung after popular journalist Joey Akan called out the headies academy for choosing to disqualify Portable because he is a smaller artist.
According to the decorated music journalist, the headies academy are supposed to reward artistic excellence and not serve as a moral tool to censor their behaviours.

Recall that Burna Boy was in the news recently after his security aide allegedly shot people in the club, an investigation that the Nigerian police also promised to investigate.
