Tems, Ayra Starr, Amaarae Make NME Magazine's Emerging Artists List | SEE DETAILS

UK-based NME Magazine have named Tems, Ayra Starr, and Amaare on its 2022 list of 100 Emerging Artists which is an annual list released recently.

Tems. Ayra Starr, and Amaarae have been named as part of the 100 artists on NME Magazine's Emerging Artists list for 2022. The list was released on Friday, the 7th of January 2022.

Tems was probably the biggest breakout star out of Africa last year with her feature on Wizkid's global smash hit, Essence taking her music into the international space, Soon enough, she featured on Drake's 2021 album and featured RnB star, Brent Faiyaz on her own EP.

Amaarae and Ayra Starr also had equally outstanding performances in 2021 with the latter getting unveiled as a Mavin Records Act and dropping two projects within the space of the same year.

Tems, Amaarae, and Ayra Starr have now being named as part of the NME Magazine 100 Top Emerging Artists list due to their amazing outing in 2021. The list of 100 artists is a very diverse mix with a lot of European, Asian, and American artists also named on this extensive list.
