Samklef continues to blast Seun Kuti in scathing online posts

Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has ignited a heated online controversy after launching a series of scathing attacks on Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti.

The drama began when Seun Kuti posted on Instagram that he only responds to artists with Grammy nominations, which Samklef took as a personal affront.

While in a series of posts, Samklef accused Seun Kuti of living off his father's legacy, Fela Kuti, and challenged his fans to name one hit song by the singer. Additionally, he offered a N500,000 reward to anyone who could do so. Samklef further sparked outrage by stating that Seun's Grammy nomination is not the same as winning the award. Also, that his older brother, Femi Kuti, is the only true son of Fela Kuti.

Furthermore, the music producer brought up a past incident where Seun Kuti was involved in a physical altercation with a policeman. He stated that he should be in jail instead of the cross-dresser, Bobrisky.
