Nigerian singer, Ruger, who recently parted ways with his former record label, Jonzing World, has responded to a fan's jab about his post-label music career.

The fan, efekoga, tweeted today, Friday, June 7, 2024, "No Hit since you left jonzing," suggesting that Ruger, born Michael Olayinka Adebayo had not released any successful songs since leaving the label.

Ruger quickly fired back, "no hit for Jonzing since I left Jonzing," implying that the label had not had any success since his departure. This response is the latest in a series of public digs at his former label, which he has accused of exploiting him and using his funds to support new artists.

Ruger's departure from Jonzing World, led by D'Prince, was announced on February 6, 2024, and has been followed by a public feud between the two parties. The singer has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with his contract and treatment during his time at the label.
