Popular Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka widely known as Ruger has expressed regret for his past actions of body shaming colleague, BNXN during a heated social media beef that occurred two years ago.

The rift between the two musicians escalated online over discussions about their respective albums, resulting in a confrontation where exchanges turned derogatory. Insults were hurled, musical creations disparaged, and both Ruger and BNXN resorted to body shaming each other.

During the height of the dispute, Ruger notably referred to BNXN as a 'fatty bum bum,' adding fuel to the already intense online feud.

However, Ruger recently appeared as a guest on the latest episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, co-hosted by actress, Moet Abebe and reality star Tolanibaj on Friday, March 15, 2024. In a moment of reflection, Ruger expressed genuine remorse for his past behavior, acknowledging his wrongdoing.

He stated, "I feel bad that I body shamed BNXN," indicating a sincere desire to make amends for his previous actions.

Since departing from D’Prince’s Jonzing World and establishing his own record company, Blown Boy Entertainment, Ruger and BNXN have officially put an end to their feud. Their recent collaboration on the single Romeo Must Die serves as evidence of their reconciliation and renewed professional relationship.

As Ruger takes responsibility for his past mistakes, fans hope for continued positivity and collaboration between the talented artists, leaving behind the animosity of the past.
