Olamide wishes Wizkid a happy birthday
Nigerian rapper and YBNL label owner Olamide, has extended warm birthday wishes to his colleague Wizkid on his 34th birthday.
In a rare display of public affection, Olamide, known for keeping a low profile, retweeted a post shared by Wizkid on his social media handle and simply wrote: "Birthday wishes."
The two music industry giants have a long history, having entered the limelight almost simultaneously in 2011 with their breakout record Omo To Shan. However, at the time, Olamide was signed to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes, while Wizkid was signed to Banky W's E.M.E. label.
Today, Olamide is the brain behind one of Nigeria's biggest labels, YBNL, while Wizkid runs the successful Star Boy Entertainment label. Despite their individual success, the duo has maintained a cordial relationship. Lastly, Olamide's birthday wishes are proof of their enduring friendship.
