"We Can Tell by the Likes" - Naira Marley Warns Artists to Stop Buying Youtube Views
Nigerian rapper and head of Marlian Records, Naira Marley has warned his colleagues and fellow artists about buying views for their Youtube videos.
The rapper said this via a post he made on his Instagram story on Sunday, the 4th of July 2021. Naira Marley warned other artists to stop buying Youtube views as anyone could tell by the views. He also denied addressing Nigerian artists with his post, saying he is sure they are not in the bracket of people who buy views. He wrote;
Stop buying YouTube views. We can tell by the likes.
I'm not even talking about anybody from Nigeria o. I'm sure nobody in Nigeria will ever.

Naira Marley's comment about Youtube views is coming barely a week after dropping the video for his latest song, 'Coming' with South Africa's Busiswa. The act of buying views has been a topic of discussion for the longest time within the music industry. However, there's no way of telling for sure if someone has bought views.
