The singer made it known that all is well with his partner, following the rumours about him on the internet.

Nigerian musician and music/business executive Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr. Eazi, has reacted to the rumours circulating that Afrobeats star Tekno collapsed on stage.

A video of a man claimed by many to be the 'Pana' crooner being held by security operatives in a bid to revive him after he collapsed on stage in South Africa has been circulating on social media. The video, which has caused a frenzy, got the attention of the 'lowkey' Mr. Eazi, who, on the same day—Tuesday, August 20, 2024—immediately debunked the rumours, stating that Tekno is currently in Malaba, Equatorial Guinea, and not South Africa, as the rumour suggests. Taking to social media app X, he wrote:

"Lmao Tekno wey dey Malabo"

Recall that Tekno and Mr. Eazi recently formed a strategic alliance after the former's Cartel Music label and the latter's music company, emPawa Africa, struck a joint venture with Tekno as an investor and a partner. This explains why Mr. Eazi took to social media to clear the air.

Additionally, according to an in-house investigation by Notjustok, a close member of Tekno's camp confirmed that Tekno was not the one in the video, flagging it as fake
