Lojay's 'Monalisa' Tops Global Afrobeats Chart on Shazam | SEE DETAILS
Nigerian singer, Lojay has seen his hit single Monalisa race to the top of the global afrobeats chart on the song-identification app, Shazam.
Lojay's Monalisa takes the top spot on the Shazam global afrobeats chart ahead of CKay's Love Nwatiti that has been doing a madness recently. The news was shared via Instagram on Sunday, the 17th of October 2021.
Lojay dropped Monalisa as part of his LV N ATTN EP in June, a joint endeavor with popular producer, Sarz. Songs like Tonongo and the title track which featured Wizkid also had impressive spells on the charts by Monalisa has proven the biggest test of time from the songs on the project.

Going by the charts, Lojay's Monalisa is now the most Shazamed afrobeats song globally, with Ckay's Love Nwatiti a close second. Jaywillz' sleeper hit, Medicine falls in third place just before Wizkid's Joro in fourth. Most notable among the top 10 entries is Davido's Fall which is still going strong in 9th place even though it was released four years ago.
