Lil Kesh breaks silence on personal battles fans didn’t know about

Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh has opened up for the first time about personal struggles he’s quietly battled behind the scenes, surprising many fans with his honesty.
Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh has spoken openly about his ongoing mental health challenges, revealing his long-standing battle with anxiety and what he believes to be undiagnosed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In a recent interview, the Shoki hitmaker shared that although he hasn’t received an official medical diagnosis, he is convinced he has been dealing with ADHD since childhood. According to him, while everyone has moments of restlessness or distraction, it becomes a serious issue when it interferes with daily life, something he’s personally experienced for years.
"I don't like to identify as ADHD, but I have ADHD. Everybody has a level of it, but it’s bad when it becomes a disorder. I've had my fair share since I was a kid," he said, adding that his understanding of the condition comes from years of personal experience.
Lil Kesh also addressed his struggles with anxiety, explaining that life in the spotlight has made it even harder to manage. He pointed out that uncertainty and lack of clarity are major triggers for him, noting that identifying his emotions and problems often helps ease the pressure.
The rapper further emphasized the need for deeper conversations around mental health, especially in the entertainment industry, where many public figures quietly battle their inner struggles.
