Reputable writer, editor, and music journalist Joey Akan has confirmed that there is a Basketmouth and Wande Coal collaboration, and he also went on to reveal how long it took for the Collab to happen.

Basketmouth, who is a professional comedian, recently upped his game by becoming one of the best A&R the contemporary Nigerian music scene has witnessed, backing the claim up with a solid project he dropped in 2020 titled 'Yabasi' amidst other singles.

Set to drop another project titled 'Horoscopes' on February 10, 2022, the ace comedian, actor, and producer is said to have the vocal king, Wande Coal, on the album.

According to Joey Akan, via his Twitter page, the Basketmouth and Wande Coal collaboration will be on the upcoming album. He further revealed that it took Basketmouth a whopping two years to get the falsetto singer on a song. He tweeted:

Basketmouth chased Wande Coal for two years, before he could get him on his new album. He finally caught him when someone snitched on Wande, that he was at Aristokrat's office. When he got the beat, Wande Coal kept recording and recording. Made over 10 hooks on the same beat.
