Ex-MoHits signee and Nollywood actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku, popularly known as Ikechukwu, has revealed that he and his wife of nearly three years, Ella, have officially ended their marriage.

The confirmation comes after the couple tied the knot in a grand traditional ceremony in May 2021.

In an interview with Daddy Freeze that surfaced online today, Friday, February 23, 2024, Ikechukwu disclosed that despite efforts to salvage their relationship, it ultimately reached a point of no return. Contrary to speculation, he clarified that infidelity was not the cause of their separation.

The rapper, known for his time with the MoHits record label, shared insights into the dynamics of their marriage, attributing its breakdown to unresolved differences. Ikechukwu expressed feeling inadequate in the eyes of his ex-wife, stating that she made him believe he was not enough for her.

Despite attempting to mend their relationship, Ikechukwu admitted that their efforts were futile. He elaborated on his decision to part ways, emphasizing that he reached a breaking point and had to assert himself when he could no longer tolerate the situation.

Throughout his career, Ikechukwu has been vocal about his experiences, including his interactions with industry figures like D'banj's mother during his time with MoHits. Now, as he navigates the end of his marriage, Ikechukwu remains candid about the challenges he faced and the difficult decision to go their separate ways.
