Rapper Ikechukwu has revealed a shocking detail about how much he received for every performance during his time as a signee under MoHit Records.

Nigerian rapper and actor Ikechukwu Onunaku recently revealed his experience under the MoHits Records label.

During an Instagram live show hosted by Daddy Freeze, Ikechukwu disclosed how he was allegedly shortchanged by one of the label owners, Dapo Oyebanjo, also known as D'banj.

He claimed that despite being booked for shows for a huge sum of money estimated to be around one to two million naira and payment were made, he only received 50,000 naira out of his fee, as if it were a "favor" in his words.

Ikechukwu went on to add that his pay was later increased to N150,000 after he and D'Banj got into an argument. He also added that the Kokomaster had told him that the increment had only been facilitated by the final approval of his mother.

When asked by Freeze why D'Banj had stated that the increase was as a result of his mother's approval, Ikechukwu went on to assert that every decision MoHits was primarily overseen by D'banj’s mother, suggesting that no decision was made without her approval.
