Falz responds to alleged money laundering saga involving Bobrisky
The singer has issued a 24-hour withdrawal and retraction order to Verydarkman.
Nigerian ace rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has given socialite Verydarkman 24 hours to retract his statement regarding the rapper and his father’s alleged involvement in a money laundering case.
Recall that on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, social media figure Verydarkman shared an explosive audio clip implicating Falz in a controversial situation. In the recording, socialite Bobrisky accused a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son of helping him evade charges—a situation Verydarkman alleged involved Falz and his father, the prominent SAN Femi Falana, in securing Bobrisky’s legal backing.
The audio also claimed that certain EFCC officers demanded ₦15 million from Bobrisky to drop the money laundering charges. Bobrisky admitted to paying the bribe, revealing that, rather than serving time in prison for naira abuse, he was detained in a private apartment.
