D’banj Declares Himself President of #CheerfulGiversAssociation

Nigerian veteran artiste, D’banj has declared himself the President of the ‘Cheerful Givers Association of Nigeria’.

In the wake of the new trend which brought about the birth of ‘Stingy Men Association’, the ‘Cheerful Givers Association’ is a counter-movement to the former. D’banj took to his Instagram page on the 12th of January 2021 to make the announcement. He wrote;

“ @bigbirdkuti I’m Honored to be the president And National Facilitator of The CGAN Just because Givers Never Lack!!!! #Dbanj“

The Cheerful Givers Association go by the motto; “because African Women are worth it”. This simply means African women deserve to be pampered, spoilt, and given the good things of life.

The Cheerful Givers Association was formed by Seun Kuti in response to the formation of the Stingy Men Association by Don Jazzy.

Seun Kuti took to his Instagram page on the 12th of January 2021 to formally declare the formation of the Cheerful Givers Association. He wrote;

“What is this STINGY MEN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (SMAN) Trying to give us a bad name. We Nigerian men that understand the art of taking care of our women. If we don’t do it who will? Abeg join the winning team because AFRICAN WOMEN ARE WORTH IT #getthesax”
