D’banj celebrates 20 years of musical excellence
Legendary Nigerian artist D'Banj celebrated 20 years on stage with an invite-only mini-concert. The Koko master held it down with the most electrifying performance.
Afrobeat Legend D'Banj celebrated 20 years of his musical excellence with a nostalgic remebrance of all his greatest hits. In partnership with Bolanle Austen Peter and supported by Pepsi and Trace, the Koko master brought down the house at the Terra Kulture.
He performed his earlier works and his latest releases. The event took place on April 12, 2024. Comedian Lasisi Elenu hosted the red carpet segment. Personalities like BBN star Erica Nlewedim, LAX, and Larry Gaga graced the red carpet and attended the show. Reekado Banks opened the show.
In a recent episode of The Bridge, Davido reflected on the contributions of the older generation of Afrobeats stars. He acknowledged the international success of icons like 2Baba, D'banj, and P-Square. Davido credited these pioneers for their sacrifices.
