Davido to be featured on Chris Brown’s next project

Chris Brown who is a strong advocate for Afrobeats, recently welcoming Nigerian star Ayra Starr on his North American tour.

Today, March 9, 2024 Chris Brown furthers his connection to the genre as he revealed the track list for the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed album, 11:11.

Fans worldwide were excited as the Angel Numbers singer adds none other than Afrobeats megastar Davido to the project, marking their sixth collaboration.

The intended track, is titled Hmm, and should be another global hit, following the success of their most recent summer anthem, Sensational.

Their creative partnership began in 2019 with the infectious song Blow My Mind, which took the charts by storm. Davido returned the favor later that year by featuring Chris Brown on his own track, Lower Body. The artists didn't stop there. In 2020, they joined forces again alongside Young Thug for the collaboration, Shopping Spree.

This consistency between Chris Brown and Davido has not only garnered them a loyal fanbase. It has also helped bridge the gap between American R&B and Afrobeats. Their upcoming track, Hmm, on the deluxe version of 11:11, is set for release on April 11, 2024. It is poised to be another chapter in their successful collaborative journey.
