Davido Shakes Tables At The Headies, Calls Out Artistes To Help Others
Award-winning Nigerian artiste, Davido has called out all Nigerian artistes to help upcoming artistes in the music industry as it is in lifting others that we also rise.
This statement was made a few minutes ago at the Headies 2018 Award Night where the artiste won three categories from the categories he was nominated for. While in his award for Best Song he didn't get to give any speech as he left the floor for Mayorkun to speak and show his appreciation for being awarded the Next Rated Artiste of the Year, he finally gave his speech when he was called as the winner for the Artiste of the Year. A speech he decided to keep till the end so as to pass his message well to everyone. To prove his point more, he mentioned that while people are wondering about his success, the secret lies in his helping of others as every members of the 30 Billion gangs aren't just faces to him, rather they're family and he knows every one of them, bringing them in by extending that helping hand which he urges others to do.
We would note that Davido is that one artiste that performs with almost all his crew members on stage in most cases, giving them the spotlight to also shine. This is unlike a lot of artistes in the music industry whose crew members are barely known by their fans. Foe some reasons, everyone working with Davido has been given the spotlight that they all now feel like celebrities just by their association with the 30 Billion boss.
To Davido, artistes who have made it to an extent should also try to help other artistes that are aspiring to be like them. This message was received with applaud from the crowd who, from responses, agree with Davido's message because if for nothing, he has shown a great example of such lifestyle with his DMW family also known as the 30 Billion Gang.

He went on to dedicate the award to his family, friends, daughters and of course, Chioma, his girlfriend whose name he screamed excitedly.
Davido won three awards for the night, Best Pop Single, Song of the Year and Artiste of the year.
