The DMW frontline act was supposed to have Drake's voice on his new album but it didn't work out.

Nigerian heavyweight singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken on a drake-sample that was supposed to be part of his new album 'Timeless'

The Nigerian international superstar has finally released his most anticipated studio album titled 'Timeless'. With guest appearances from the likes of Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Musa Keys, Focalistic, FAVE, The Cavemen, Dexta Daps, and the newly signed artists on his rebranded DMW 2.0 imprint; Logos Olori and Morravey, the 17-track album serves as the 4th in Davido's highly decorated catalogue, following its predecessors, 'A Better Time', 'A Good Time', and 'Omo Baba Olowo (The Genesis)'.

Speaking in an interview with BEAT FM who changed their name to TIMELESS FM (meant to last for two days) in honour of the musician, the singer made it known that he was supposed to feature DJ Khaled-endorsed Fridayy on the album but the song which had a Drake sample couldn't be cleared on time, hence he had to proceed on releasing the album without the song.
