Davido Reveals the Nigerian Celebrity That Made Him Title His Album 'Timeless'

The award-winning Afrobeats superstar was inspired by an industry colleague to name his recent album "Timeless."

Heavyweight Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed details of how a popular Nigerian celebrity inspired him to name his latest project "Timeless."

Following the release of 'A Better Time', 'A Good Time', and 'Omo Baba Olowo (The Genesis)', the international superstar unlocked his most anticipated studio album, 'Timeless," which had guest appearances from the likes of Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, FAVE, The Cavemen, Dexta Daps, and others.

The album, which serves as the fourth in Davido's highly decorated catalogue, has continued to dominate the music scene, both locally and internationally.

Speaking in an interview with London-based radio station Capital Extra, the DMW frontline act and owner made it known that Mavin Records boss and veteran music producer Don Jazzy gave him the idea of naming his album 'Timeless."

Davido further revealed that although they changed the album title about five times, choosing "Timeless" at the end made more sense to him and his team.
