Davido Narrates How He Was Arrested on Stage

The award-winning singer had a number of ordeals with the army and police orchestrated by his billionaire father.

Heavyweight Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, gave a story about how he was arrested on stage, alongside his team members.

The DMW frontline act and owner, who is currently promoting his latest album 'Timeless," continues to tell detailed stories of how much sacrifice he made to get to the point he has gotten to in his career.

Speaking in the interview with American media personality Big Boy, the 30-year-old singer highlighted how much he was willing to do music—so much so that he got on bad terms with his billionaire father.

According to Davido, he had to skip school a lot as part of the sacrifices of pursuing his career, a path that was not fully supported by his father, who wanted him to complete his education at all costs.

The award-winning singer made it known that he was once arrested on stage alongside his friends and crew, an instruction that was given by his father as punishment for Davido skipping school.
