Nigerian sensational singer and songwriter Fireboy DML has overtaken Afrobeats Poster-boy Wizkid on Nigeria's Apple Music Top 100 Chart.

Fireboy's mid-tempo tune, 'Peru' produced by Ace beatmaker Shizzi, has gained more attention in recent times due to the YBNL act's decision to kick off a social media campaign for the tune, shooting it straight to the number one spot on Nigeria's Apple Music Top 100 Chart.

Wizkid's 'Mood' which features buzzing singer and songwriter Buju, was initially at the number one position in the chart but has now been overtaken by Fireboy's Peru.
