Burna Boy reaches new heights on Hot 100 charts

African Gaint Burna Boy has secured a new spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the track 'Just Like Me' by 21 Savage.

'Just Like Me' by 21 Savage featuring Burna Boy and Metro Boomin' from his new album 'American Dream' debuted at the 67th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. This has tied Burna Boy with Nigerian singer and producer Tems as the African artist with the most charting songs in Billboard Hot 100 history.

The African Gaint now has five charting songs such as 'Taliban II' featuring Bryson Messia, 'Loved by You', 'Sittin' on Top of the World' featuring 21 Savage, 'Last Last' and now 'Just Like Me' that have entered the Billboard Hot 100. Whilst Tems has also secured five songs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 'Free Mind', 'Wait For You' by Future featuring Drake, 'Move' by Beyonce featuring Grace Jones, 'Essence' by Wizkid, and 'Fountains' by Drake.

In addition to his new spot on Billboard, Burna Boy has become the first Nigerian artist with the highest Grammy nominations. He has a total of ten nominations which is a record for a Nigerian. The African giant has also become the first African artist to perform at the Grammys live show scheduled for February 5, 2024. His latest feat is his 'Do I' remix with Phyno is now the number #1 song on Apple Music NG.
