During the live eviction show on Monday, Saga, Nini, and Queen pulled the least number of votes and were evicted from the house. Pere and Angel got more votes than the aforementioned trio but there can only be five finalists. Hence, Biggie told them to leave the house and put them in a white room together. They are meant to play a game of trucks and screwdrivers. The winner goes back in the house, while the loser goes home.

The protest by Pere's fans follows calls from his management for the BBNaija organizers to rethink the twist. According to them, he won the final slot fair and square, going by the announced votes. Pere himself said he does not want to play the game but he'll take the change he's been given. He told Angel;

Having to play this game to win to go back again, I prefer they made anyone else the addition because I rather choose to leave. I prefer to leave rather than play this game. However, as the situation is, I have been given another chance so I will just take it but no one understands how I feel.
