Nigerian music legend 2Baba, real name Innocent Idibia, has given fans and followers a fresh update on his rumored wedding plans with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
Earlier, reports surfaced that the African Queen hitmaker is set to wed Natasha in a traditional ceremony scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2025, in Benin City, Edo State. According to the report, preparations are in top gear, and key steps have already been taken to formalize the union.
In a new development, sources revealed that Natasha Osawaru has met with 2Baba’s kinsmen in his hometown in Benue State ahead of the big day. During the visit, the lawmaker was warmly received by the Idoma elders and presented with the traditional red and black Idoma attire as a symbolic welcome into the family.
The meeting took place months after 2Baba proposed to Natasha Osawaru, and photos from the intimate gathering have surfaced online, showing her proudly wearing the indigenous attire. It’s also been reported that Natasha has now adopted the Idibia surname as part of her public identity.
