On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, the Global Citizen Festival, which is an annual festival organized by the Global Poverty Project as part of the movement to end poverty, saw both local and international stars such as Stormzy, Stonebwoy, Usher, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Gyakie, Sarkodie, Oxlade, Pheelz, Uncle Waffles, Kwesi Arthur, Yaw Tog and a host of others grace the stage.

Hosted at the Black Star Square in Accra, Ghana, the event also took place on the same day at Central Park's Great Lawn in New York City, with heavyweights like the Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, Charlie Puth, Rosalia, and a host of others thrilling the fans in America.
