This year's nomination list for the Tanzania Music Awards is out and the list is decorated by A-List Tanzanian artists such as Harmonize, Marioo, Zuchu. Ali Kiba, Rayvanny and more except Diamond Platnumz.

It is a known fact that in 2022 Diamond Platnumz made new records, thrilled fans and waved the Bongo Fleva flag to its peak with his First Of All EP along with other projects that he was featured in and to many fans, it sounds odd that the Bongo Fleva star has not bagged any nomination in this year’s roster.

Speaking in an interview with Rick Media, Mrisho Mrisho who is one of the organizers said that Diamond Platnumz did not submit any of his works to the organizers of the awards and that’s why he was not nominated.
