Born on the 5th of November as Anthony Johnson, A.JAY is an Afro-dancehall & Afrobeat artist who hails from Rivers state Nigeria a place breeding with musical talents leading the new generation, A.JAY Oddlad is also here to stay with his unique style of music and weirdly controversial appearances with his debut project brimming the artist has built a brand for himself which has ushered in his alias called "ODDLAD"

Constantly working on his craft and trying to find meaning in what He always believed in has actually brought him to the point where He realized that He is true “too odd for this” an EP by A.JAY Oddlad who won the best foreign-based Nigerian act of the top Naija music awards 2017 edition, he takes a step to showcasing his craft by dropping a single titled “Wahala” featuring the vibes machine himself 1da Banton, A.JAY Oddlad sees his life experiences as the key which opened his mind to building and creating the world that lives in his mind as He voices out his melodies on this project, furthermore the EP contains every feeling and emotion that has passed through him all these years, He worked on this not forgetting his origin it’s been a long time coming and finally left the falsified mindset and stayed true to his roots as a kid from the south side of Nigeria
