SHARE

Oh you're here to keep yourself updated again? Well, that's what we are here for. Every week we see the amazing Afrobeats music videos that our Naija acts are putting out and we're grateful. Certainly, there's even more to look forward to.

If you've been on your social media platforms you must be as excited as I am seeing all the interesting projects that Nigerian acts have been teasing to release. We are in for a treat, Afrobeats is at a level it has never hatched before.

One thing that gladdens my heart is that there are many new artists who are bringing their unique sound and style to the game, switching things up. The Nigerian sound is now so diverse that it is unlikely for artists to sound alike.

Also, new music video directors are permeating the industry and creating masterpieces. It is exciting to see.

Here are some Afrobeats music videos you should see this week.

Agege - Tekno feat Zlatan Ibile

When Tekno teased that he was soon to drop a song, posting a snippet on his Instagram, Davido advised him to feature Zlatan Ibile on it. The two acts (Tekno and Zlatan) would later meet in the studio and they churned out a banger Agege, massacring the instrumental that was produced by Phantom Beatz.

The music video for the Afrobeats jam is filled with salaciousness as well as energy. Meanwhile, Tekno had some issues with the government over the production of the music video.

Bounce - Kida Kudz feat Wiley

Bounce is a party-themed Afro sensation song. Kida Kudz does it once again and proves that he is one of the worthy representatives of Afro-fusion. He features Wiley on this vibrant jam.

The music video brings life to Kida Kudz' lyrics, with voluptuous women shaking their massive butts to seal the Afropop vibes.

Believe - Small Doctor

Small Doctor has consistently pushed himself to become one of the most outstanding street pop artists. His new single Believe is for those who didn't believe in him and now they want to enjoy out of his riches.

In the music video, Small Doctor is the star in the spotlight, amidst all adversities. The video is impressive.

Aye - Yung L

This is one song that I really like. Also, Yung L is one artist whose artistry I appreciate. The song Aye was on his EP Jollification and it became the favorite of many fans. Aye is a conscious song which sees Yung L singing about the vanities of life.

Aye's music video tells a beautiful story, imitating the song's concept and bringing a picturesque description to the wordings of Yung L.

Anti - Zamir feat Ycee

Zamir is one of the dopest mcs Nigeria has ever seen and he has pushed his music independently and as part of a group (LOS). He collaborates with Omo Alhaji Ycee on this song Anti-(social). On the track, the two rappers make it clear that they only relate with their own goons.

This particular music video is a personal favorite and it's top-notch.
