FOLA announces first major headline concert in Lagos

Fast-rising Afrobeats artist FOLA (Folarin Odunlami) is set to mark a defining moment in his career as he prepares to headline his first major concert in Lagos.
The show, titled What a Feeling, will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Balmoral Event Center in Victoria Island.
The event shares its name with his debut EP, a project that introduced many listeners to his soulful fusion of R&B, Pop, Afro-Caribbean sounds, and contemporary Afrobeats. Signed under Bella Shmurda’s Dagbana Republik, FOLA has enjoyed a rapid rise, powered by standout tracks such as Alone (featuring Bhadboi OML, with a widely praised remix featuring BNXN) and Who Does That featuring Bella Shmurda. His emotionally rich storytelling and soothing vocal style have earned him millions of streams and a loyal fan base across digital platforms.
Released in late 2024, the What a Feeling EP explored themes of heartbreak, healing, growth, and the search for self, resonating deeply with listeners who connected with his confessional approach to songwriting. The forthcoming concert, scheduled to run from 7 PM to 1 AM, will give fans a chance to experience those songs live in an intimate but energetic setting.
FOLA has often described his music as an extension of his emotions, crafted to give listeners “goosebumps” and a sense of connection. The upcoming show represents a long-awaited milestone for the singer, who has steadily grown from performing in a high school band to becoming one of the new voices shaping contemporary Afrobeats.
Tickets for the What a Feeling concert are available for purchase on online.
